It should be decided on the type of flooring. While carpet and PVC coatings do not necessitate the usage of thick skirting, laminate flooring does require more space-consuming skirting. If the space is large, it may be necessary to close the gap of 20-25 mm at the bottom of the wall. High skirting should be preferred in large halls and thin skirting should be preferred in small spaces. The code numbers of MODEMA indicate the thickness and height. Ex: 2240 height is 40mm, thickness is 22mm.
Due to the fact that the machines used for production are special and fast, it is generally feasible to produce special models for orders over 10,000 meters of tulle and it takes about 4 weeks. If a special color is requested, an order quantity of at least 3,000 m2 of foil is required.
For skirting MODEMA is the only firm that has TSE certificate.

The colors of the Woody brand are compatible with the standard parquet tones available in the market. It has standard color and quality. The MODEMA brand should be chosen if more distinctive color harmonies and quality are sought.
After the putty has been used to smooth the surface, uncoated MDF can be painted. However, if you purchase one of our white paintable foil-covered models, it is possible to paint whatever color you would like to.
Solvent-free, high-quality (e.g. Henkel Sista, Ceresit, etc.) silicone adhesives, better called mounting kits, are recommended for bonding to the wall. The price may appear a little excessive at first, but if the success it has attained is compared, it will undoubtedly cost less. It is not advised to use too much activator spray when using fast adhesive on corner joints since it could cause the foil layer to lift.

When cleaning things other than MODEMA brand be careful. While using a thinner, abrasive dust cleaner, abrasive cloth or sponge you need to be very careful. These techniques have the potential to ruin the skirting board’s pattern and cause the coating to flake off. If you do not want to have problems, we recommend a MODEMA.
